You gave me passion.
You gave me fire.
You gave me vision that makes men tremble and enemies run.
But LORD, I ask You — let not my zeal consume me.
Don’t let the fire outrun Your will.
Don’t let the drive turn into pride.
Don’t let the mission get hijacked by emotion.
Keep me humble when I win.
Keep me focused when I rise.
Keep me silent when it’s not time to speak.
Let me burn clean.
Let me move slowly when I need to wait.
Let me soar only when You say “fly” — not one second before.
I don’t want hype — I want honor.
I don’t want frenzy — I want faithfulness.
Grip my spirit.
Calm my wings.
Let my zeal never get ahead of Your truth.
